Consistency in revision rarely comes from one long session. It grows from small decisions that make returning to the Quran easier, especially on busy or low-energy days.

01

Choose a dependable time

Attach revision to a part of the day that already happens, such as after Fajr or before sleep. A regular cue removes the need to decide when to begin.

Keep the minimum small enough to protect the habit. Ten focused minutes every day is more useful than an ambitious hour that happens once.

02

Revise in clear portions

Separate recent memorization from older passages. Recent work needs close repetition; older work needs a rotating schedule that brings every section back before it fades.

Mark the verses where hesitation appears. Begin the next session there instead of always returning to the easiest page.

03

Listen, recite and check

Listen to a trusted reciter before reading aloud, then recite without looking and check the mushaf immediately. This short cycle trains both the ear and the memory.

End by noting one specific focus for tomorrow. A clear next step makes it easier to return.

Carry this with you

Protect the rhythm before increasing the amount. A small revision practice you can repeat is the foundation of lasting Hifz.
